Cancellation of Tournament

Due to the growing Covid situation in Queensland, it is with great regret that the Suncoast Spinners Management Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2022 wheelchair basketball tournament.
A number of the services and staff required for the successful and safe running of the tournament have already been affected and this situation is likely to escalate in the coming days. Volunteers, first aid, transport and accommodation are all being impacted. This includes the response times of ambulances and paramedics in case of injury, which is of great concern.
All nomination fees will be refunded in full.
Please be understanding of both the effort we have made in trying to host this tournament and the seriousness of the decision we have been forced to make.
