Meet Shikara, Director of Sorelle Dance Studios:
Shikara began her dance journey at the age of three and has since devoted 9 years to teaching dance. Shikara holds a certificate 3 in Education Support, a diploma in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the same field.
Her extensive teaching experience spans across national and international settings, including China and throughout Australia. She has had the privilege of instructing students in child care centres, primary schools and dance studios, fostering their development in both recreational and competitive dance environments.
She has also showcased her talents as a professional children’s entertainer at theme parks, events, parties, and functions.
Shikara’s training in the esteemed CSTD and Royal Academy of Dance syllabuses equipped her with the skills to excel in performances, examinations, and other dance events in her younger years. Since her teenage years, Shikara has aspired to establish her own dance studio, driven by her unwavering dedication and love for nurturing young dancers.
Shikara is thrilled to be sharing her knowledge, passion and love of dance with the students at Sorelle Dance Studios and can’t wait to create beautiful memories with them.
